This is the latest update from nearby Zama Army base: In response to the developing situation at the Fukushima Power Plants, USAG-J, MEDDAC-J, and Public Health Command- Pacific are monitoring health concerns and taking environmental radiation readings every 3 hours. All readings to date have returned to NORMAL. Currently there is no health risk to our community.
