Driving Through Radiation

These journalists checked out the area that has been evacuated near the nuclear reactors at Fukushima (within the 30km exclusion zone. You can see the geiger counters going off on the dashboard. Short-term exposure is probably like getting a CT scan.

Journalists must be brave though. However this is probably not such a risk, as long as they don`t do it everyday.

    Thanks for posting this walking tour near the Fukushima Daiichi power plant in the aftermath of the tsunami and earthquake. It really shows the power of the water to wash away in a few hours what our bulldozers couldn’t do in ages.

    Japan has our prayers from here in the USA.
