Minami Ashigara Sports Centre

Minami Ashigara Sports Centre is only a 25 minute walk from Tsukahara Station and even closer to Wadagahara Station.

It has a small weight room, a running track, a pool, tennis courts, a soccer field, many gyms, aikido, karate, shorenji kempo and judo classes.

There are also many sports clubs in the area. You can check with Odawara City Hall and Minami Ashigara City Hall to obtain a list of all the clubs. There is an extensive magazine in Japanese that lists all the clubs–not only sports clubs but art and everything else in between. There are literally hundreds of clubs.

      Ruichi,

I would contact Odawara City Hall with that. Or the Odawara International Lounge. There are so many teams, but you probably found you couldn`t join any when you came last time right? So I would contact the City Hall and look at their book full of sports circles. You will be able to join a circle for a short time I would think. You may want to also contact Minamiashigara City Hall and do the same thing.

And there should be a few people at both city halls that can speak English if you need that. Some of the Minamiashigara City Hall staff have studied at my Kevin`s English Schools, and other English schools.

      Hope this helps!

      Kevin

Thank you very much kevin, im so sorry for my late reply. Well i did not know about that Odawara International Lounge. Well actually more than join to a soccer team is more like looking for a park where we could play soccer. Im going with 2 other friends that actually they do not know nothing about the Japanese language so i guess find people who actually speaks English could make more fun on our trip. by the way how i could contact the minashigara city hall? do you have the address?
